RegWork

RegWork is a program developed by NixSolutions. The purpose of this program is to scan and fix a number of Windows Registry errors you might have in your system. Incorrectly uninstalled programs, program updates, or some other situations can cause these errors. The fuller the registry is, the more the computer will suffer in performance terms, since the registry is a basic component of Windows.

There are many registry-fixing programs out there on the Internet. However, RegWork is one of the more complete ones. It fixes a wide variety of errors, such as shared DLLs, ActiveX errors, help files, and others. Many of the other programs available check only for unused or old registry items.

The first thing you will see is a nice, blue interface that is very clean and intuitive. You can start scanning your PC right from this welcome window. The scanning process is performed in real time, and it is a very quick process - depending on the size of your registry. There are also plenty of other options and filters that you can apply to the scanning process. Perhaps, the only downside is having no control over the registry backups. The program does back up your registry every time you scan your PC, but you will not be able to decide what you want to back up and what you would leave out. Scanning is the only free feature provided by RegWork. If you want to fix a problem, you need to buy a license, which is a bit on the steep side.
